At China Fishery, we are keenly aware of our commitment to sustainable fishing practices, and are dedicated to striking a balance between consumer demand and the conservation of stock for future generations. Additionally, the Group actively seeks for ways to reduce waste. Our waste management system turns normally discarded raw materials into highly marketable and nutritional by-products. This means that more fish products can be derived from the same amount of fish harvested, thereby maximising the use of regulated ocean resources.
Pioneers in Quality Assurance
Protecting the health and safety of consumers and livestock are just as important as business reputation. At China Fishery, we maintain a stringent quality control programme on board our vessels to ensure harvested and processed fish meet the trusted food safety and quality requirements. Additionally, we leverage from the high standards applied by our parent company - Hong Kong Stock Exchange Mainboard-listed Pacific Andes International Holdings ("PAIH"). PAIH was amongst the first in Asia to achieve certification under the rigorous ISO 22000 international food safety system for its fish processing plants. PAIH also established Sino Analytica, China's first world-class independent food testing laboratory with internationally recognised accreditations, thus further strengthening the Group's expertise in food safety.
