China Fishery Fleet employs state-of-the-art fleet management techniques through the use of advanced sonar fish locating technology and a support vessel which facilitates at-sea processing and transhipment. This maximises the efficiency of fleet operations, reducing the fuel consumption and manpower required to distribute seafood to markets globally. This in turn reduces the carbon footprint of our fishing operations.
China Fishery has been operating in Namibia, Africa, since 2012. In the few short years since then, it has secured access to more than 10% of the Horse Mackerel Total Allowable Catch in Namibia. The Group operates through a joint venture with local Namibian fishing quota holders, producing frozen products which are exported to many countries throughout Africa.
